I'm the "Dee" in Pawla Dee's. I was born and raised in the Natrona Heights area. My husband, Tim, and l live in Fawn Township with our 2 children, Emma and Sawyer and 2 cats: Cinnamon and Henry.
I have been in the dog grooming business for 30 years. I was first introduced to dog grooming when I was 12. I spent my weekends sweeping up dog hair, taking dogs for walks, and cleaning up kennels in Allison Park. Soon I was learning how to correctly brush and blow out coats of many breeds. I first started actual pet grooming when I was 15 and at 19, I even taught a pet bathing class for CCAC. In 2010
I started helping at another grooming shop near me to be with my kids more. Now they're a little older and I'm ready to start my next adventure! Can't wait to meet you and your furbabies at Pawla Dee's!
Hi! My name is Paula Mellinger, the ''Pawla" in Pawla Dee's Pup Salon. I've been married to Adam for 23 years and I have 2 children, Corey and Hallie. I have 2 rescue pups- Walker and Ellie.
I was a stay at home mom after my daughter was born and then I decided I needed to get out of the house occasionally, so I became a part time dog bather at Groomingdales Country Kennels. This is where and when I met my current business partner, Jodi Lutz. It's been 15 years since I started dog grooming and I absolutely love my job! I so look forward to seeing where our little venture takes us!
